It is 1855. You have decided to vote for a politician who is "personally opposed to slavery, but pro choice on the issue." Your choosing him is based on his stands on all the other issues which in your judgment outweighs his support of the system of slavery. Could you explain your vote with a clean heart to a black man in manacles?

Col. John Is the Pick in the Kentucky Derby

The top two horses in the Derby field are Big Brown and Col. John. The latter's win in the Santa Anita Derby convinced me. His dad Tizrow owned this distance and his maternal sire Turkoman was pretty classy too.
